Cherish Canda, BSPT

Cherish is the first Sterile Processing Technician instructor to teach in Stockton, CA. She is a physical therapist by profession, a clinical educator, and a mother. She is a certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist and Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician.

Sharing the vision of providing credible, low-cost and fast vocational courses, she manages Altamont Healthcare in all its undertaking with her husband Robert Glenn Campbell.

Robert has 13 years of experience as a lawyer but now acts as Altamont Healthcare's Educational Administrator. He also manages the externship program, specializing in hospital relations and student placement. He loves empowering our students and assisting them in developing their career in healthcare It is his vision to create a community of employable professionals in our local area.

Zena V. Campbell

Human Resource and Liaison Officer

Zena is a fun-loving person with 3 kids, 7 grand kids, and a zest for life! She loves to travel & relishes on her experience having visited several places in Europe and Asia.
Zena is a retired DMV Employee- the State of California and held several positions: MVFR Control Cashier & Human Resouces at the San Jose DMV. She now indulges herself in her new position at Altamont Healthcare, ensuring good relations among the staff and the student body.

Anthony Rodriguez

Office Assistant & Social Media Consultant

Anthony helps manage our social media pages as well as assist us in getting things done in the office. He manages our pages online and makes sure they're presentable for our client-base. He is an Altamont Healthcare graduate and is a certificed SPDT.

Anthony graduated at the top of his class and began working for Altamont Healthcare immediately after. He helps process enrollments, run errands, and feeds us fresh ideas for overall improvement. Although he is departing for UC San Diego in September, he will still be helping us manage our image online.
 

Billie Jean Jones

Medical Office and Clinical Assistant Instructor

Billie Jones is a Medical Assistant/ Physical Therapy Coordinator and has been in the Healthcare field for 20 years. She started her medical career as a Certified Nurses’ Assistant in 1993. She worked in a skilled nursing facility for many years. In 2007, she decided to go back to school to become a Medical Assistant. She graduated with High Honors, Deans List in every module, Excellence in Externship award and Perfect Attendance in every module. Billie was also hired by my externship site directly after my training. Today, she is still employed in the Urgent Care/ Workman’s Compensation field. She has worked in both front office and back office settings as the Lead Medical Assistant and Specialty Referrals department and currently works in the Physical Therapy department as a coordinator.

In 2011, she became a Medical Assistant Instructor for a local College. training many students to thrive in the medical field. Her goal is to share her skill with the students so that they can be seen as a professional asset to the community and the healthcare field.

LaShonda Baker

Externship & Office Assistant

Shonda is an alumnus of Altamont Healthcare with multiple certifications, namely: Sterile Processing, EKG tech certification and Sterile Processing Externship. She currently works for Clovis Community Hospital as a SPD tech while moonlighting with us. Prior to her education with Altamont, Shonda has over 21 years of experience in the grocery industry. Through hard work and determination to start a career in the healthcare field since 2016, she has successfully transitioned from her old career path to the medical field.

Brianna Garcia

Student Relations Specialist

For the past 15 years Brianna has worked in various customer service, and clerical roles, as well as team lead positions. She developed an exceptional set of communication skills, as a result, which allows her to work well with all levels of customer service and management. She prides herself in her ability to produce quality work in a timely fashion even while working under pressure. She completed her Business Office Technology certificate in 2008.
